ARTIST STATEMENT
The spirit must be felt so intensely that it has power to call others in passing, for it must pass, not stop in the pictures...Emily Carr

My paintings are designed to keep you in the moment of becoming.  To fill the heart, open the mind, activate the body, allowing the spirit to move through on waves of color.  As your perspective shifts so too does the painting.  A continually expanding perspective is our natural dance with life.  We are, each of us, destined to interact and create and the painting becomes our partner; a contemplative sidenote singing through our DNA out into the Universe the individualized voice of "I AM".

My belief as an artist is that abstract art has the capability to communicate far beyond what we, as humans now allow ourselves to perceive as thoughts, words, beliefs, abilities.  I feel one possible way to convey this is through the harmonics of color; the seemingly abstract language of universal mind.

The paintings embody my intention to remember our desire for inspiration through renewed perspective.  To embrace our True Self that creates always in the moment of becoming within the unconditionally infinite space of Love.
